POSITION – Senior Commercial Mortgage Originator

COMPENSATION – Competitive Pay/Commission Structure

LOCATION – New York City (Would Consider Remote Location for the Right Candidate)

Role and Responsibilities

Locust Park Capital is looking for experienced professionals with prior commercial real estate experience, ideally in origination or deal execution, to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to originate, negotiate, and close debt and equity financing opportunities across the country. The candidate will be joining a fast-growing team of industry professionals, with the opportunity to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Originate debt and equity deals across all asset classes and geographies

• Manage and maintain existing client relationships to generate future opportunities

• Run entire placement to closing process

• Manage and maintain existing client relationships to generate future opportunities

• Use Excel-based analytical functions including financial models, cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analysis

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of experience and a proven track record of success in an origination and placement role

• Existing relationships and experience working with real estate principals or lenders

• Ability to pre-screen a transaction and client, prior to engagement with Locust Park Capital

• Understanding and knowledge of general underwriting and capital markets

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact confidently with clients and peers

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• Aspiration and willingness to collaborate in a team-based work environment

• Commitment to personal and professional growth
